Overnight Coffee Cake


Ingridients

1/3 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup white sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, walnuts, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over the batter. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.

The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake the cake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
